After more than one comment from my roommates about the 'bunch of wires' in the corner, I decided to build a ballast box.
I went to Lowe's and RadioShack and picked up the following:
The items I had on hand for the project: The tool list: *Insert Standard Disclaimer* IF you don't know what you're doing, Don't try it. It's electric and It can Kill You.*End Disclaimer*

Before:
Metal halide ballast, fan transformer, 2x32w PC ballast, Timer, moonlight transformer. Lots of wires. Just a mess!
Layout:
MH ballast fits, Markings for timer cutouts.
I used my roto-zip to cut the holes for the timers. Next I drilled holes for the fuge and moonlight switches.
Timer casings were cut with a small hacksaw. (At times I wish I had a dremmel tool.)
Casings were then sanded flush with a random orbital sander
12Ga. wire soldered onto the power contacts. Black is Line, Red is Load from Relay, and White is Neutral
The next step was to get rid of the prongs for the plug. I used my roto-zip again. Before on the left, after on the right.
The whole thing is coming along nicely.
From top left and going clockwise:
  • (2) Workhorse 2 ballasts. (Underneath the wires)
  • Moonlight transformer
  • Fan Transformer
  • IceCap 150W Electronic Ballast
RadioShack quick connects. I don't recommend these. In the future, I'll spend a little more money and get better quality connectors.
Finished box, lables applied.
The After Picture. All cleaned up.
